Advantis is a recruitment agency based in Dubai, specializing in providing tailored staffing solutions for companies across diverse industries. Committed to transparency, determination, and a responsible approach to recruitment, Advantis aims to strengthen its presence on the international market.

The company approached us with a request to design a corporate website that would serve as their online business card. The primary objective was to create a multi-page website that not only showcased the agency’s services but also established a strong and trustworthy brand image, emphasizing professionalism and a commitment to long-term partnerships.

We managed the project from research and design to prototyping and delivery of a complete design package, stopping short of the development phase.

We began by gathering comprehensive information about Advantis, its services, target audience, and competitors. The primary goals were defined: to create a user-friendly, informative, and functional website that effectively showcases the company’s services, builds trust, and attracts both job seekers and corporate clients.

Industry analysis

We conducted a thorough examination of the HR services market, focusing on competitors in Dubai and internationally. This research revealed several key characteristics of the industry, such as:

  • A strong emphasis on showcasing testimonials and successful partnerships to build client trust.

  • Essential features like job search functionality, filters, and an application process tailored to job seekers.

  • Dedicated sections highlighting company values and mission, reinforcing transparency and professionalism in interactions with clients and candidates.

From this analysis, we determined that the website should include sections that emphasize the company's expertise, showcase successful cases, and ensure ease of use for all users.

Audience analysis

We identified several key audience segments:

  1. Job Seekers:

    • Young professionals seeking their first jobs.

    • Experienced specialists aiming for career advancement.

    • Expats exploring job opportunities in Dubai.

  2. Corporate Clients:

    • Small and medium-sized businesses needing specialized recruitment support.

    • Large enterprises looking for a long-term staffing outsourcing partner.

    • Startups requiring quick access to talent for scaling.

Personas were developed for each segment, capturing their goals, pain points, and expectations when engaging with Advantis. These insights were organized into a CJM (Customer Journey Map) to understand how users would interact with the website.

Key messages for the website

Based on the research, we defined the core messages to communicate to the audience:

  1. For Job Seekers:

    • Advantis will help find jobs that align with their expectations and professional qualifications.

    • A transparent and straightforward application process.

    • Support throughout every stage of employment.

  2. For Corporate Clients:

    • Advantis is a reliable partner for recruitment needs.

    • Efficient solutions that save time and resources for businesses.

    • A high level of professionalism and accountability for outcomes.

These insights clarified the essential aspects of structure, design, and content needed to create a website that is both effective and user-friendly for corporate clients and job seekers alike.

Based on the research and analysis, I developed the structure of the website and each individual page, ensuring alignment with the project goals and audience expectations.

Structuring the website

The primary goals of the structure included:

  • Clearly presenting all information about Advantis, its services, and job opportunities.

  • Designing intuitive navigation to help users quickly find the sections they need.

  • Ensuring a user-friendly interface that enables job seekers and companies to interact seamlessly with the platform.

  • Developing dedicated pages for job listings, services, testimonials, and case studies to showcase the company’s professionalism.

Prototyping

The process began with hand-drawn sketches to visualize the basic structure and key interface elements of the site.

These sketches were then transformed into low-fidelity prototypes in Figma. This stage allowed us to validate user flows and confirm that the navigation was user-friendly and the site structure was logical.

After receiving client approval, I moved on to creating a high-fidelity prototype. This version included:

  • A well-defined grid and layout to ensure structured content presentation.

  • A visual content hierarchy to help users easily navigate large volumes of information.

The Swiss design style was chosen for this project, as it is well-suited to the HR niche:

  • Effective content organization: This style visually segments information, which is crucial for job listings, services, and company materials.

  • Ease of use: A minimalist approach with a focus on typography ensures users can focus on the content without distractions.

  • Premium and streamlined aesthetic: The style fosters a sense of professionalism and trust, which is critical for an HR company operating in international markets.

The design and prototyping phase established a solid foundation for the website’s future design and user experience. By aligning all details with the client, we ensured that the website would be intuitive, functional, and visually appealing to all audience segments.

The primary colors for the website were black, gray, and white:

  • Black represents reliability and professionalism.

  • Gray adds sophistication and elegance.

  • White creates space and visual clarity, emphasizing key elements.

The visual focus was on high-quality images showcasing modern offices and a corporate atmosphere. This highlighted the company’s scale and serious approach, instilling trust in potential clients and partners.

Typography. I selected bold sans-serif fonts that aligned perfectly with the minimalist style of the website. This choice ensured ease of reading while maintaining an aesthetic and contemporary look.
